Why You Need Commercial Roof Cleaning in St. Louis County, MO

Commercial roof cleaning protects your building, employees, and clients in St. Louis County, MO. It's often overlooked, but is essential as a part of comprehensive building washing. When you stay on top of your roof washing, you're also taking steps in the following areas:

Shield Your Structure From Damage
One of the biggest reasons to schedule regular commercial roof cleaning in St. Louis County, MO, is to avoid damage to your roof. Professional washing helps you detect problems (such as a small pocket of mold) prior to them getting out of hand (perhaps the mold grows and spreads, causing health issues). Buildup on your roof can physically damage your building, create stagnant water pools, and become a fire risk if left unchecked.

Care for Employee and Client Health
Even if your employees and/or clients aren't regularly visiting your rooftop, it can still pose a hazard to their health. Messy structures attract insect and rodent infestations and promote the development of mold and other fungi. This is bad enough on its own, but when combined with rooftop HVAC units, the health risks are exacerbated.

Improve Your HVAC's Cooling Efficiency
Health and wellness isn't the only way your rooftop washing plays a key role in your business – you also need to pay attention to your HVAC equipment: The debris buildup can also cause issues with cooling performance. Dirt and debris trap heat in your building and the air just above it, meaning your air conditioning unit has less cool air to pull from when operating. Professional commercial roof cleaning lets your air conditioning system work properly, without handicaps.

Maintain Code Compliance
Expecially if you have a restaurant, you're being held to high standards of cleanliness. Restaurant roof cleaning is essential to staying code-compliant in St. Louis County, MO, in addition to caring for your building, workers, and customers.

Increase Curb Appeal
In any type of business, the exterior of your building is a major part of your first impression. When introducing your business to people, it's important to put your best foot forward, and commercial roof cleaning should not be ignored for its impact. When you properly clean your roof, windows, and concrete, they will become a passive marketing tool.

We don't want to disrupt your business – we don't want to cause a lull in your business patterns. Below is an outline of our typical roof washing process, and ways we can customize it in St. Louis County:

  1. Initial Consult: When you first contact us, we'll ask you for some information about your roof, when you need the service, and give you a free estimate.
  2. Site Preparation: This varies widely depending on the project, but most commercial roof cleaning projects involve a way for us to climb on top of your building, in one way or another.
  3. Debris Removal: Any larger, dry debris will need to be removed before we can proceed with the washing.
  4. Wash and Rinse: You can read more about washing methods below, but whatever method your roof needs, our team will provide you with a extensive, effective, and long-lasting clean.

By scheduling commercial roof cleaning, you are investing in your company. As an added bonus, roofs don't need to be cleaned as often as the rest of your buliding: While seasonal cleaning is a must for most businesses, roofs usually only need to be cleaned annually or biannually (St. Louis County, MO businesses generally need it twice a year, due to the high-humidity climate).

Commercial building washing is an extension of roof cleaning. When you work with CleanPro for both, we can combine and schedule services in a way that works best for you.
